Hornady Caliber Change Storage

As I was changing my Hornady Lock-n-Load AP from 45 ACP to .223, I realized that I needed a way to keep all the caliber-specific parts together. I needed small boxes, one for each caliber that would hold:

  • Dies in their LnL bushings
  • Shellplate
  • Metering Insert
  • Quick Change Powder Die

There is also enough room to hold a Powder Cop or RCBS Lockout Die.

My wife and I were in The Container Store today and found exactly what I needed. These plastic boxes – with lid – measure 9″ wide by 5″ long and are 2.25″ deep. And they even come in red!  They are about $5 each and can be found on their website here.
